Its been almost one year since we have started our home page. The purpose of the web site was to introduce mainly Shunzan-gama (Sennyu-ji, Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto) but also about our neighborhood.
Shunzan-gama is located at south end of Higashiyama area. Sandwiched between Tofukuji-temple and Sennyu-ji temple. Although it takes only three kms from Kyoto Station, the area is off the main tourist spots. so you can avoide crowds and enjoy greenery quiet atomosphere. Temples/shrines, pottery studios also tea masters house here and there. Original goodness of Kyoto still remains in this area.
