{"id":1017,"date":"2019-02-20T15:48:51","date_gmt":"2019-02-20T06:48:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.wakuwaku-kyoto.com\/?p=1017"},"modified":"2019-10-30T13:27:10","modified_gmt":"2019-10-30T04:27:10","slug":"craft-techniques","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wakuwaku-kyoto.com\/en\/info\/craft-techniques\/","title":{"rendered":"Craft techniques"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sometimes our guests ask\u00a0us &#8220;what is\u00a0the difference between Kyo-yaki and other potteries ?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>We\u00a0reply\u00a0&#8220;Every potteries made in Kyoto is Kyo-yaki, and each studio has own style.\u00a0\u00a0In case of\u00a0\u00a0Shunzan-gama,\u00a0 our style is characterised by elegance designs and decolation techniques&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>For example, this small tea pot.\u00a0 The pot\u00a0is\u00a0suitable for high quality green tea such as Gyokuro, which should be brewed with hot water of law temperature (60 degrees C) in order to bring out Umami (or amino acid) .\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Since the hot water is not too hot to hold the tea pot,\u00a0the pot\u00a0doesn&#8217;t\u00a0need handle.
